The Transatlantic Innovation Hub for Italian start-ups in Manhattan

Atlas, a member association of Confindustria providing innovative and technological services for the internationalisation of start-ups and innovative companies, announces the opening of the Transatlantic Innovation Hub, the first permanent Italian landing place based in Manhattan dedicated to accelerating businesses in the US market.

Located at 417 Fifth Avenue, in the heart of midtown, the hub was created to move beyond the model of temporary missions and offer a permanent presence in the United States.

The hub provides operational landing services, qualified lead generation, incorporation and compliance to operate in the US, and access to financing tools for the start-up phase through an agreement with a regulated platform within the EU.

Atlas appoints Simone Tarantino as managing director of the hub with international experience in ecosystem building and strategic advisory. He will lead relations with American investors, accelerators and corporations, saying in a statement: “The Transatlantic Innovation Hub is not a showcase, but an execution platform rooted in the New York ecosystem: here, connections become contracts and visibility becomes capital. Manhattan is the most competitive ecosystem in the world, where results prove that it is possible to play on a global scale.”

“Italian entrepreneurs have talent and technological skills, but they face barriers in accessing large markets due to a lack of support infrastructure. This hub aims to bridge that gap by supporting businesses at every stage: from relocation to full competitiveness,” says Tommaso D’Onofrio, president of Atlas.
