Amuseapp’s cultural technologies raise €350,000

Amuseapp, a start-up that uses artificial intelligence and the latest technologies to make cultural experiences more accessible and engaging, has announced that it has closed a pre-seed investment round worth €350,000.

The funds raised will enable Amuseapp to enhance its technology, consolidating its model in Italy and, at the same time, to start growing in international markets with the aim of positioning itself as a player in cultural innovation and accessibility to artistic heritage.

Several business angels and private investors from the worlds of entrepreneurship and finance are participating in the operation, including: Paolo Tramonti (founder of Bios Line), Francesco Zucchetta (CIO of Serenis), Marco Moschini (business angel), Lucio Gomiero (advisor and former board member of Ferrero), Jacopo Pertile (co-founder of Azzurro Digitale), Serena Granziera (founder of Bloom).

The operation is also supported by the Nocivelli family (Epta Group), led by Marco Nocivelli, Vice-President of Confindustria for Industrial Policies and Made in Italy.

Founded in 2024 by Marco Da Rin Zanco, Michele Da Rold and Alberto Nalin (pictured) as a spin-off of Larin, a Venetian marketing and digital transformation agency, Amuseapp was created with the mission of making cultural experiences understandable and accessible to everyone, overcoming the linguistic, economic and technological barriers that often limit their enjoyment.

To meet this challenge, Amuseapp has developed a platform that combines various features in a single digital ecosystem. At the heart of Amuseapp’s technology is Amuseagent, an artificial intelligence agent capable of transforming raw materials such as publications, texts or lectures into multilingual itineraries tailored to every type of visitor, from children to experts, to people with disabilities. Amuseagent is the engine that makes culture more accessible and understandable for everyone.

The generated content is then distributed immediately via web apps and QR codes, using a bring your own device approach which, by directly exploiting visitors’ smartphone usage, eliminates the need for downloads or complex procedures.

The platform also integrates advanced data analysis tools that enable cultural institutions to gain a better understanding of their visitors, from length of stay to interests and geographical origin, and to develop targeted promotion strategies.

Finally, the model is economically sustainable because it does not require fixed costs: museums can monetise through the sale of digital audio guides and donations, sharing only a portion of the revenue with the platform.

In summary, by combining AI, accessibility and economic sustainability, amuseapp stands out in the cultural technology landscape as one of the few platforms capable of combining inclusion, data analysis and heritage enhancement in a single ecosystem.

Amuseapp is adopted by around 70 cultural sites in Italy and is the official audio guide of the Doge’s Palace in Venice, which, with over a million visitors a year, is one of the most visited museums in Italy. In addition, the platform has exceeded 500,000 total users. , demonstrating the scalability of the model.

“This capital increase represents much more than an economic boost: it is a sign that the world of finance and entrepreneurship also believes in the value of cultural innovation. In the coming months, we will have the opportunity to take amuseapp beyond Italy’s borders and demonstrate that even the smallest museums can offer world-class services. Throughout all this, our guiding principle remains the same: to ensure that all visitors can enjoy a clear, accessible and truly understandable cultural experience,” says Marco Da Rin Zanco, co-founder and CEO of Amuseapp, in a statement.
