Bonx, 7.5 million euro round and expansion plan for Italy

Bonx, the startup developing the no-code ERP solution that leverages artificial intelligence to transform the management of industrial operations, announces a EUR 7.5 million investment round led by international technology fund 9900 Capital, with the participation of Kima Ventures, Purple, OSS Ventures and Dynamo Ventures. The capital raised is part of a broader four-year development plan, which will aim to make Bonx the technology partner of choice for Italian and European manufacturing SMEs.

The company, which was founded in 2022 by Alexandre Barroux and Rémi Bèges (pictured) as part of OSSVentures, a Paris-based start-up studio that invests in the industrial sector and in technological, environmental, social and societal transition, will thus strengthen its presence in Europe, particularly in Italy and Spain, consolidating its position as an ERP innovator for SMEs and further developing its proprietary technology.

Italy is the main growth driver of Bonx’s expansion plan. Just a few months after entering the market, the company has already acquired customers in the manufacturing sector, particularly in the Valenza and Turin area, and expects the opening of an office in Milan within the next year. Up to 20% of the invested capital will be allocated to Italy, where there is also a plan to recruit new talent in the sales and operations teams . Finally, the recent participation in the SPS Italia trade fair in Parma marked a first concrete step in this direction.

“Italy is a crucial market for Bonx, as it boasts several manufacturing SMEs that create a rich, articulated and innovation-ready fabric. We have chosen to invest in Italy by hiring resources, opening offices, and forging strategic partnerships, because we believe that our technology can really unlock the potential of these companies. This round gives us the strength to do so with ambition and continuity,’ says Alexandre Barroux,CEO and co-founder of Bonx, in a note. – Our mission is clear: to enable manufacturing companies to simplify and control their internal operations through a technology adapted to their specific needs. This investment launches us into the next phase: to become the ERP reference in Europe for SMEs by exporting the French model to new strategic markets, in particular Italy and Spain”.

Bonx stands out for its unprecedented speed of implementation: in recent installations it has consistently achieved go-live times of only five weeks, a rare achievement in the ERP sector. Thanks to its advanced artificial intelligence functionalities and its highly intuitive no-code interface, Bonx has quickly established itself as the new ERP solution of choice for French manufacturers, including well-known brands such as French Bloom and the Decathlon supplier network.

The company’s rapid expansion in Italy and Spain illustrates Bonx’s scalable approach and its readiness for a wider European domain. Focusing intensively on the needs of the manufacturing SME market and leveraging AI-based customisation, Bonx continues to make significant progress in terms of product innovation, offering an ERP solution that evolves with customer needs.

Rémi Bèges, CTO of Bonx, emphasises Bonx’s integrated approach: “Focusing exclusively on production operations and the supply chain, we have designed Bonx to integrate easily with the tools we already use, in particular with accounting and CRM management systems that our customers trust and appreciate. Our seamless integrations mean that manufacturers do not have to replace the CRM or financial solutions they are used to: Bonx complements their existing technology ecosystem, enhances it and becomes the backbone of their operations.”
