Busforfun, which had already announced in March 2025 that it would be a partner of the Milan Cortina Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games, as we reported here, is now also a ticket retailer for the Paralympic competitions.
The news was announced by Fondazione Milano Cortina, which stated that in order to facilitate participation in the Milano Cortina 2026 Paralympic Games, Busforfun has been announced as the official retailer, with the aim of simplifying the purchase and management of tickets and dedicated travel services.
The programme also includes coordinating transport for groups and schools, along with managing the logistics necessary for participation in the Milan Cortina 2026 Winter Paralympic Games, which will take place from 6 to 15 March 2026.
For all Paralympic disciplines, including the Paralympic Opening Ceremony at the Arena di Verona, scheduled for 6 March 2026, Busforfun offers two solutions: the ticket and bus service package and the purchase of the ticket only, resold by Busforfun at the same price and with the commissions charged by the official Milano Cortina 2026 ticket office.
The initiative has been designed to ensure a structured, clear and accessible process for all those wishing to take part in the competitions, facilitating participation in the Paralympic experience through integrated ticketing, mobility and organisational management services. The Busforfun team will provide assistance, offering the possibility to request invoicing and payment by bank transfer. All information is available on this page of the BusForFun website.
Up to 665 athletes from 50 countries are expected to compete in the Milan Cortina 2026 Winter Paralympics, vying for 79 medals in six disciplines: Paralympic alpine skiing, Paralympic biathlon, Paralympic cross-country skiing, para ice hockey, para snowboarding and wheelchair curling. The competitions will be spread across Milan, Cortina d’Ampezzo and Tesero (Val di Fiemme), creating an edition with a strong regional focus and reaffirming the inclusive and widespread nature of the event.
