Climate Tech Frontiers Summit, here is the Forest Valley event

The venue is Palazzo Arca in Milan, headquarters of the CAP Group. The date is 13 November 2025. The event is called Climate Tech Frontiers Summit. It is organised by Forest Valley, the international ecosystem dedicated to accelerating climate innovation in Europe. This is its first edition, and Startupbusiness is its media partner.

The Summit capitalises on a process that began in 2024, with a series of online events promoted in synergy with Edison and the CAP Group, followed by over 400 corporate professionals, innovative start-ups and international investors. After exploring crucial verticals such as energy, circular economy, water management and waste to resource, the format now culminates in a day of convergence and live discussion for the main players in climate innovation.

The strategic agenda focuses on six vital macro-areas: from collaboration between utilities and industry for large-scale innovation, to circularity in the fashion sector, through to strengthening innovation ecosystems and the new frontiers of sustainable manufacturing. Investments in climate tech and the upskilling strategies needed to drive this transition will also be discussed.

At the heart of the Summit is a message addressed to the Italian industrial and financial fabric, including medium-sized enterprises: climate innovation is no longer just an environmental issue, it is a competitive advantage. In operational terms, this means integrating new technologies, processes and best practices into production and service systems for three objectives that directly affect business: reducing emissions, increasing operational resilience and generating measurable value along the supply chain. Companies that are able to incorporate these elements into their industrial plans for the period 2025-2035 will have access to greater efficiency, stability and the ability to attract capital. This is not ESG communication: it is industrial planning.

“The Italian sustainability landscape, although vibrant and rich in initiatives, remains fragmented,” says Paolo Meola, CEO of Forest Valley. “With the Climate Tech Frontiers Summit, we want to offer the opportunity to address climate transition as a strategic lever for industry and finance, creating a space where players from different sectors can meet, share perspectives and build concrete paths for collaboration together.”

The choice of Palazzo Arca is far from random: a zero-emission building, a virtuous example of sustainable architecture designed by Claudio Lucchin & Architetti Associati, it embodies the principles of innovation and responsibility (in the image). The event will attract around 150 participants, including representatives of European start-ups, industry investors and key figures from the Italian ecosystem. A pre-event, Climate Coffee, will offer a further opportunity for informal networking for the cleantech community.

This inaugural edition marks the beginning of a journey that aims to increasingly involve international stakeholders and more directly include the industrial world. in particular medium-sized enterprises, together with financial players. Starting from Italy, the aim is to develop increasingly international meetings, maintaining a direct link between strategic discussion and its practical application at industrial level.
