LianeCare, a people caring technology platform that enables secure, high-quality connections between companies, employees and care professionals, has announced that it has closed a €1 million investment round. The capital increase was subscribed by Zest, Apside and other Italian business angels.
The transaction will enable LianeCare to accelerate its growth as a technological enabler of a structured caregiving ecosystem, strengthening its digital platform, expanding its network of qualified professionals and developing new solutions to support companies that invest in the wellbeing of their people.
LianeCare, founded by Anna Benini, Rita Costantini and Assia Gekova, is an innovative SME and benefit corporation that operates as a caregiving ecosystem within corporate welfare and people caring policies.
The startup’s proposal includes proprietary technological infrastructure for matching care needs with qualified professionals, supervised by a specialised team; a national network of caregivers and care and wellness professionals, selected, verified and monitored over time; psychological support, guidance, training and counselling services designed to accompany people through the different stages of life and care.
Through an open but governed model, LianeCare transforms caring from a private emergency into a structural lever for well-being, productivity and organisational sustainability, helping companies to take concrete care of their people.
For Apside, the investment in LianeCare is part of the joint venture’s strategy to support high-potential digital start-ups capable of enabling new data-driven services, with a particular focus on technologies that have a positive impact on people’s lives and the Italian production system. The funds raised will be used in particular to: enhance the technology platform and features dedicated to HR departments and corporate welfare; expand the network of care and personal service professionals throughout the country; develop new content and digital pathways to support caregivers and employees; accelerate commercial development and partnerships with businesses and welfare operators.
Anna Benini, founder and CEO of LianeCare (pictured with the team), commented in a statement: “This round represents a fundamental step in our growth path. The entry of Zest and Apside allows us to accelerate technological development and the expansion of services dedicated to family caregivers, supporting more and more companies that want to take concrete care of their people. Our goal is clear: no one should be forced to choose between career and family.”
Enrica David, chair of Apside’s investment committee, adds: “LianeCare combines social impact and technological scalability in a sector, corporate caring, that is increasingly strategic for businesses. We have chosen to support the LianeCare team because we believe in their data-driven approach to welfare and their ability to bring tangible benefits to both employees and companies, contributing to the development of a more inclusive and sustainable work ecosystem.” .
