Mammt, the service dedicated to the lunch break that was born in the bed of the startup studio Djungle,<\/a> <\/strong>a Turin-based reality that is part of the galaxy headed by Stefano Buono, also known for the investment vehicle LIFTT and for the energytech scaleup Newcleo, makes it known that it has started a collaboration with the company Sirena.<\/p>\n

The collaboration between the two Turin-based companies is aimed at increasing the road safety of the riders who travel the streets of the city every day to deliver punctual hot lunches.<\/strong> The project involves the supply of the new Lumina personal safety devices developed by Sirena, it is a light signaling device with amber light that Mammt riders will use during their daily work activity, applying it on their yellow backpack.<\/p>\n

Lumina is the wearable safety device designed by Sirena designed to make the operator more visible in any situation characterized by a compact and robust design, the device has a high degree of protection that guarantees its lighting capacity, despite rain, snow or adverse conditions. Thanks to the flashlight function, the white light beam can also be used to illuminate in the desired direction and thanks to the magnetic clips, it allows it to be worn leaving the user’s hands free to work.<\/p>\n

Mammt was founded in Turin in 2021 from the desire to provide workers and students with a tasty, varied and balanced lunch break through the delivery to their homes or offices of a surprise lunch customized to the tastes of individual customers.<\/p>\n

Safety for riders on the roads of Turin and Milan<\/h2>\n

Following the initial development in the Piedmontese capital, Mammt has also been operational in Milan since January 2022 and offers a way to eat in a healthy and sustainable way precisely because it has revolutionized the food delivery model to make it more sustainable for the entire ecosystem that includes restaurants, riders, users and the environment by minimizing food waste and promoting the optimization of resources.<\/p>\n

Sirena’s general manager Fabio Salomone said in a statement: “Safety in the workplace is a priority. Ensuring that the most appropriate signalling devices are used is now a matter of responsibility.<\/strong> Ensuring safety has always been our mission and making those who work on the road more visible is the first step to achieve this goal. Sustainable urban mobility also means road safety.”<\/p>\n
