The first of its kind, LymphoDrain is easy to implant subcutaneously using a minimally invasive technique and is designed to offer unprecedented benefits to patients by locally and actively replacing the drainage function of lymphatic vessels. <\/p>\n\n<p>The financing round was co-led by <strong>Panakes Partners, TechWald Holding and the Digital Transition Fund of CDP Venture Capital,<\/strong> with the participation of <strong>Occident, Z\u00fcrcher Kantonalbank and business angels from the Investors Club via Simon Fiduciaria<\/strong>. Existing investors, including <strong>High-Tech Gr\u00fcnderfonds (HTGF)<\/strong>, also participated in this round. <\/p>\n\n<p>To support its growth, Lymphatica has also opened a subsidiary in Italy, which will be responsible for expanding research and development, production and clinical operations.<\/p>\n\n<p>Lymphatica is further strengthened with the appointment of Dan Rose as the new Chairman of the Board; Rose brings with him significant leadership experience from companies LimFlow (acquired by Inari Medical), Direct Flow Medical, Sequana Medical and Medtronic. In addition, Alessio Beverina, managing partner of Panakes, and Lukas Guenther, chief investment officer of TechWald Next, have joined the board alongside current independent board member Nanci Govinder. <\/p>\n\n<p><strong>&#8220;We are extremely pleased to have successfully concluded our Series B financing round, which will allow us to further advance the clinical development of our cutting-edge technology for lymphoedema patients,&#8221; Marco Pisano, CEO and co-founder of Lymphatica Medtech, said in a note. <\/strong>&#8220;With the support of our new and current investors and
