Lexroom.ai, a startup engaged in the development of solutions based on artificial intelligence applied to the legal sector, announces that it has signed a partnership with WST Law & Tax Firm, which operates in the legal and tax consultancy sector (and produces content for Startupbusiness readers) that has led to the development of a module dedicated to tax law<\/strong>, designed to meet the needs of lawyers, tax consultants and legal professionals. The new tool aims to optimise regulatory research and drafting, ensuring greater efficiency and accuracy. <\/p>\n\n

The new module was realised thanks to the collaboration with WST professionals, who brought their consolidated multidisciplinary know-how and sector-specific expertise to support Lexroom.ai. With a team of more than 400 professionals in Italy and a network of global alliances, WST provides strategic advice, combining diversified professional experience with deep specialisation in more than 30 areas of law . It includes up-to-date regulations, relevant case law and operational practices, such as the main tax obligations and documents of the Italian Revenue Agency. This solution is designed to meet the needs of lawyers, tax consultants and corporate professionals, offering a new and innovative tool to optimise legal research and drafting activities. <\/p>\n\n

Founded in 2023 as part of venture builder Vento, Lexroom.ai supports over 500 law firm and corporate clients. The platform saves users valuable time: 67 per cent of lawyers using it report saving more than three hours per week, while 33 per cent report saving more than five hours, the company says in a note. <\/p>\n\n

“The fragmented nature and recurrent changes in tax legislation led us to doubt the effectiveness of artificial intelligence tools for advice and assistance in the tax area. When selecting the official sources needed for research and analysis on the tax module, we had to include more than a thousand legislative and ministerial acts as well as more than 40 websites with public sources. In the subsequent test phase of the module developed by Lexroom, we were immediately able to verify the writing property and the tendency of accuracy and precision of the normative, jurisprudential and administrative practice sources selected by Lexroom for the purposes of an initial instant case study. The possibility to download the sources called up by Lexroom from the site facilitates the subsequent analysis and in-depth study phase, thus enhancing the indispensable contribution of the human factor. Using the tax module with the due critical sense can effectively contribute to professional activity in the tax field,’ Giuseppe Rigano, executive partner, and Gaetano Pizzitola, tax partner in charge of the WST Lab, who coordinated the selection of the sources used by Lexroom, said in a note. <\/strong> and the subsequent testing phase of the tax module by the various tax departments of WST before the final release.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n
