With over 100,000 expected visitors, more than 2,400 exhibitors and around 1,000 speakers from over 200 countries <\/strong>This year&#8217;s edition puts the spotlight on key topics such as 6G, advanced artificial intelligence, technological sustainability, IoT, smart connectivity and cyber security.<\/p>\n\n<p>Among the notable presences, the Italian delegation coordinated by ICE stands out for the quality of the start-ups and innovative companies presented. During the event, the <strong>Italian Consul in Barcelona, Emanuele Manzitti, emphasised the importance of the Italian participation in the MWC, &#8220;Italy plays an increasingly relevant role in the global technological landscape, and our participation in events such as the MWC demonstrates the ability of Italian companies to innovate and compete internationally,&#8221;<\/strong> he said, underlining the institutions&#8217; commitment to supporting Italian companies abroad. The Consul, who is about to leave his post due to reaching the limits of his mandate, adds: &#8220;This is my fourth edition of the Mobile World Congress, and in a few days I will be leaving my post. It has been an interesting journey and I thank everyone for having accompanied me over the years. It has been an extraordinary opportunity to learn more about our entrepreneurial and technological heritage.&#8221;  <\/p>\n\n<p>The sports world also showed interest in the technologies presented: the well-known <strong>Former Serie A footballer Christian Panucci visited the Italian delegation, expressing curiosity about the innovative solutions proposed. &#8220;Technology and sport are worlds that are getting closer and closer, and to see Italian innovation applied to these sectors is truly inspiring,  <\/strong>states, highlighting the link between sport, technology and digitisation.<\/p>\n\n<p>The companies of the ICE delegation present at MWC 2025 (pictured) represent strategic sectors in various technological fields. The MWC is not only a showcase for emerging technologies, but also a networking opportunity for Italian companies. An example of this is the collaboration agreement signed during MWC 2025 between Icarus Technology and LibraryMed, both part of the Italian delegation, in the field of AI in healthcare. The agreement envisages the integration of LibraryMed&#8217;s technology to select scientific papers with which to instruct Icarus Technology&#8217;s AI, thus increasing the quality and reliability of the proposed solutions. Some of the companies in the Italian delegation are:    <\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Icarus Technology, specialising in artificial intelligence for healthcare,<\/strong> develops solutions for healthcare data analysis and patient monitoring. Its advanced technologies are also applied in sectors such as logistics, automotive and smart cities. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>LibraryMed, an innovator in digital health, <\/strong>develops artificial intelligence-based solutions for the secure management, analysis and sharing of clinical data, optimising collaboration between healthcare professionals and institutions. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>MLR, through its WuvDay brand, offers innovative solutions for media content<\/strong> acquisition and certification, addressing the core issue of information verification;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Nextome, a leader in indoor positioning and advanced navigation solutions, <\/strong>offering technologies based on high-precision localisation algorithms, used in areas such as smart buildings, museums, airports and hospitals to improve navigation and space management;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>ViberAlert, which specialises in vibration-based safety systems<\/strong>, has developed a saddle with anti-distraction technology for motorcyclists, designed to improve road safety by alerting the driver via vibration in dangerous or distracting situations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>ICE, through its support for Italian companies, continues to play a crucial role in the internationalisation of innovative start-ups and SMEs. In this regard, <strong>Sarah Galassi of ICE says: &#8220;ICE is proud to have accompanied 35 Italian companies to MWC 2025, confirming Italy&#8217;s role as a creator of innovation and technology in continuous growth<\/strong>. With a digital sector that generates more than EUR 75 billion and an ecosystem of startups that is increasingly competitive internationally, MWC represents a concrete opportunity to create strategic partnerships and expand opportunities in global markets, being one of the most relevant events for the technology and digital sector&#8221;.  <\/p>\n\n<p>Italy thus confirms its leading role on the
