The aim is to support international startups that want to explore opportunities in the Korean market. <\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Three structured phases<\/h3>\n\n<p><strong>Phase 1: Exploration of the Korean market (August\u2013October 2025)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Twenty startups selected through a process in which AGCC conducts the preliminary selection and the Korean Ministry conducts the final selection, favouring companies with high potential in the Korean market;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>mentoring on how to do business in Korea;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>consultancy on localisation and entry strategies;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>matching with potential local business partners<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p><strong>Phase 2: On-site programme in Korea (December 2025)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>From Phase 1, 10 startups are selected and invited to participate in the fully sponsored two-week programme.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>participate as exhibitors at Comeup 2025, Korea&#8217;s leading startup fair<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>visit Korean innovation hubs<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>receive comprehensive support for the incorporation of selected companies<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>and match them with Korean VCs, companies, and distributors.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p><strong>Phase 3: Linked Support (for the two most suitable startups among those selected) <\/strong>This is the phase that best characterises AGCC&#8217;s work: the two best startups also gain access to the AGCC Dubai programme, with entry to the largest tech\/startup fair in the United Arab Emirates (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.startupbusiness.it\/en\/gitex-and-north-star-the-global-platform-for-the-tech-industry\/142936\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Expand North Star and Gitex<\/a>) and participation in all side events organised by AGCC during the exhibition week.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A pragmatic approach to expansion<\/h2>\n\n<p>&#8220;The Korean market represents one of the most attractive opportunities for entering Asia, thanks to its advanced technological ecosystem, strong adoption of innovation and strategic position as a gateway for expansion throughout the region,&#8221; explains Chiara de Caro, managing partner and co-founder of AGCC, to Startupbusiness. . &#8220;What makes K-Scouter 2025 particularly relevant is its pragmatic approach: you come into direct contact with investors and potential customers to lay the foundations for your first sales, which is essential for expansion into a new market.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Requirements and applications<\/h2>\n\n<p>Interested start-ups must have:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>headquarters outside South Korea;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>no legal entity existing in Korea;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>less than seven years of existence from the date of incorporation;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>annual turnover of less than $28 million<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>Startups from around the world that <strong>wish to apply and meet the requirements set out in the call for applications <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/forms\/d\/e\/1FAIpQLScVeXiVMHECF3UFFmxhi26SWXUQYl-_ezv6l5ATLeY9FgTFtA\/viewform\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">can do so by
