{"id":147681,"date":"2025-09-29T12:54:50","date_gmt":"2025-09-29T10:54:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.startupbusiness.it\/new-round-for-serenis-e12-million-led-by-angelini-ventures\/147681\/"},"modified":"2025-09-29T12:58:10","modified_gmt":"2025-09-29T10:58:10","slug":"new-round-for-serenis-e12-million-led-by-angelini-ventures","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.startupbusiness.it\/en\/new-round-for-serenis-e12-million-led-by-angelini-ventures\/147681\/","title":{"rendered":"New round for Serenis, \u20ac12 million led by Angelini Ventures"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Serenis, the online platform for mental and physical health that manages 1.5 million patient sessions, has announced that it has completed a \u20ac12 million capital increase. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>The Series A round, which follows two previous rounds of funding bringing the total amount raised to \u20ac20 million, was <strong>led by Angelini Ventures, Angelini Industries&#8217; venture capital fund, which also supported Serenis in its first round of fundraising in 2022 and manages \u20ac300 million in capital earmarked for investments in innovative healthcare solutions, and CDP Venture Capital, which participates through the Digital Transition Fund and uses resources allocated by the EU through the NextGeneration EU initiative to promote the digital transition of supply chains and small and medium-sized enterprises, with the participation of Azimut Libera Impresa, X-Equity Venture Club, Invictus Capital, Lumen Ventures, FG2 Capital, and the entry of additional new investors such as Club degli Investitori and Doorway.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>The completion of this round will enable us to continue expanding our range of digital medical services for the care of people following the launch of <strong>Serenis Nutrition, introduced in 2025, will be consolidated in 2026 with an enhancement of the offering and services to provide increasingly cutting-edge programmes; in enhancing proprietary technologies such as Scribe AI, a free service based on artificial intelligence that allows professionals to take notes during sessions.<\/strong> instantly and in full compliance with GDPR regulations, while facilitating work and patient relations; and strengthening leadership in the business segment, consolidating its position as a provider of mental and physical wellbeing services for employees of Italian companies.<\/p>\n\n<p>Founded in 2021 by Silvia Wang and Daniele Francescon, Serenis now has a network of 2,500 professionals including therapists, psychiatrists, nutritionists and dieticians, 65 employees and a portfolio of 250 client companies, including Nestl\u00e9, Banca Sella, Satispay, Leroy Merlin, Lutech and Q8, which have chosen to support the mental and physical wellbeing of their employees thanks to the solutions offered by the platform. <\/p>\n\n<p>Attention to the issue of accessible mental and physical health has grown over time, as has Serenis&#8217; turnover, which rose from \u20ac2 million in 2022 to \u20ac25 million in 2024. Looking ahead, Serenis expects to exceed \u00a340 million in revenue by the end of 2025 and to hire around 30 new staff in the areas of design, development, artificial intelligence and marketing over the next year. <\/p>\n\n<p>&#8220;We are very happy with this transaction, but above all with the trust shown by our investors, who have continued to support our mission. <strong>Innovation in healthcare in our country also depends on entrepreneurial initiatives, and I hope that this transaction will also serve as a stimulus for others,&#8221; said Silvia Wang, founder of Serenis<\/strong> (pictured with the team), in a statement.<\/p>\n\n<p>\u201cWe are proud to have believed in Serenis since its inception and to now accompany its growth as lead investor. We are excited to accompany the team in this new phase of growth.&#8221; <\/p>\n\n<p>Health is a fundamental right, not an accessory condition: this is the principle that guides Serenis in its daily work to make mental and physical wellbeing accessible to all.<\/p>\n\n<p>This commitment takes shape in several ways: from the dissemination of valuable content, validated by the Serenis clinical team and designed to bring a wide and varied audience closer to the topic of health, to the use of cutting-edge technologies capable of overcoming traditional barriers to access to care. <\/p>\n\n<p>But it&#8217;s not just digital: Serenis has also recently opened its doors to in-person therapy. &#8220;<strong>We have recently expanded our offering by introducing the option of in-person therapy at clinics in Milan and Rome, with the aim of extending the service to other Italian cities. This new development gives users the freedom to choose the type of therapy, online or in-person, that best suits their needs,&#8221; says Daniele Francescon, co-founder of
