Lynda, a European digital platform dedicated to women’s wellbeing, was created to offer practical tools and specialist support to those going through the menopause. The menopause is a natural stage in a woman’s life, but even today it is still too often shrouded in silence. <\/strong>A profound cultural change is needed to bring it back to the centre of public dialogue, as an issue of health, equity and collective well-being. For too long, it has been confined to the margins of conversation, treated as a private matter or a taboo to be avoided. The figures tell a very different story: a systemic phenomenon marked by isolation, unrecognised suffering and loss of human capital. <\/p>\n\n

Eight out of ten women experience menopause at the height of their professional lives, and for two-thirds of them (67%, source: BBC.com), this experience is marked by isolation and a lack of reference points. Seventy-nine per cent report concrete and debilitating physical and psychological consequences: hot flushes that interrupt meetings, sleepless nights that compromise concentration, mood swings that undermine self-confidence. <\/p>\n\n

On a larger scale, this translates into a systemic impact: in G7 countries, one in ten women in the workforce is going through menopause. In the UK alone, annual economic losses are estimated at \u20ac12 billion due to absenteeism, productivity losses and talent drain. Twenty-three per cent of women surveyed said they had considered resigning, not by choice but out of resignation, because the symptoms were unbearable and support was non-existent. This is a social, cultural and economic problem of enormous proportions, which requires immediate and structured responses. <\/p>\n\n

Lynda is not just a repository of information: it is an integrated ecosystem where medical support, psychological counselling and social community intertwine, focusing on women and what they actually need, not what is assumed they need. Lynda offers a safe space in which to share experiences without judgement, consult with leading scientific experts: gynaecologists, psychologists, nutritionists, sexologists and wellness specialists, and access certified training and treatment programmes. A platform that focuses on women’s wellbeing, creating a digital ecosystem that promotes awareness through forums for dialogue, masterclasses for in-depth discussion, strategic educational tools to involve companies, and personalised online consultations with initiatives that go beyond the digital realm to reach out into the community. <\/p>\n\n

Alongside digital events, physical events are a fundamental part of this journey. Lynda organises quarterly themed events, each dedicated to a specific aspect of the menopause, in cinemas, theatres and public spaces accessible to all, involving talents and ambassadors who amplify the message in collective conversation. <\/p>\n\n

Workshops, meetings and opportunities for discussion transform isolation into belonging, creating networks for socialising and sharing, which form an informed, aware community that takes charge of its own wellbeing. Because women are at the centre of everything \u2013 not as passive recipients of ready-made solutions, but as active protagonists \u2013 with their stories, their needs and their strength.<\/p>\n\n

Menopause is also the second most common reason for leaving work after pregnancy. This is one of the facts that companies can no longer afford to ignore. For this reason, Lynda has developed a dedicated protocol that goes beyond generic training: structured training courses, multidisciplinary consultations for HR and employees, dedicated screening and video consultations with specialists. <\/p>\n\n

This is a measurable cultural transformation: creating work environments where hormonal and psychophysical well-being is not an exception, but an integral part of health, equity and talent retention policies. The round is led by Ventive as lead investor. <\/strong>and private investors. Therefore, menopause has been identified as a green field, an area that is still largely unexplored but central to the future of public health and work. <\/p>\n\n

“Menopause is not an end, but a transition that deserves to be experienced with awareness and dignity,” explains Errico (centre in the photo with the team) in a statement. “It’s not just about managing symptoms: it’s about giving voice to an experience shared by millions of women, about creating spaces where vulnerability becomes collective strength.<\/strong> When a woman can talk openly about what she is going through, when she finds a qualified listener and a community that understands her, everything changes: she regains confidence, energy and a sense of purpose. Lynda was born out of listening to hundreds of real stories, and continues to grow thanks to them. Because real change will not come about through a one-way approach, but by building a new language together \u2013 women, specialists and companies. A society in which taking care of oneself is not a luxury or a weakness, but a right and an act of responsibility towards oneself and future generations. <\/p>\n\n

As part of her journey towards awareness, Lynda also offers practical tools for everyday wellbeing.
