Angelini Pharma and Heremos, with a project dedicated to protecting and supporting brain health through a scientific and personalised approach, and Bank of Ireland together with Aven, with a project based on artificial intelligence to support those moving abroad in navigating the world of financial services, have won the fourteenth edition of NTT Data’s Open Innovation Programme.<\/p>\n\n
This year, the programme involved companies from various European countries and Latin America, expanding opportunities for collaboration on a global scale. <\/p>\n\n
The nine participating companies, including Angelini Pharma, Axpo Italia, Fastweb+Vodafone, Gruppo CAP, Banco de Credito del Per\u00f9, as well as one of Germany’s leading providers of IT solutions and services for accountants and auditors, selected the nine most promising ideas from over 70 entries received.<\/p>\n\n
These ideas were then developed together during Open Innovation Week, the beating heart of the initiative, through workshops, discussions and mentoring, culminating in the presentation of the projects and the awarding of prizes to the winners, as decided by a jury composed of industry experts, journalists (including us at Startupbusiness) and representatives of the innovation and start-up ecosystem.<\/p>\n\n
This year’s winners are: Angelini Pharma and Heremos with a project dedicated to protecting and supporting brain health through a scientific and personalised approach, combining advanced digital technologies with a scientifically validated Brain Health Score to promote awareness, prevention and long-term mental well-being (pictured at the award ceremony) and Bank of Ireland and Aveni with a project that promotes an inclusive and accessible banking model based on Artificial Intelligence to support those moving abroad in navigating the complex world of financial services. <\/p>\n\n
