This innovation increases the resilience of sensitive facilities, offering a more secure, flexible and easily implementable solution. At the same time, the commercial agreement provides for the use of WSense technologies in environmental monitoring and structural integrity control in the civil sector through Fincantieri Infrastructure, representing a product innovation with a significant impact in terms of effectiveness, safety and efficiency.  <\/p>\n\n<p>The agreement is part of the already established relationship between the Group and WSense, following Fincantieri&#8217;s investment in the company in April 2025, strengthening a synergy based on complementary skills: on the one hand, Fincantieri&#8217;s ability to integrate and orchestrate complex solutions, and on the other, WSense&#8217;s specialist know-how in wireless networks and underwater monitoring systems. With this operation, Fincantieri consolidates its position in the underwater sector with integrated solutions and as a benchmark for the development of cutting-edge technologies. <\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Pierroberto Folgiero, CEO and General Manager of Fincantieri, said in a statement: &#8220;Today&#8217;s agreement significantly strengthens our strategy for developing the underwater economy, an area in which the ability to transform cutting-edge national technologies into solutions is a decisive competitive factor.<\/strong> Our long-standing collaboration with WSense, a deep tech company in which we are committed investors, enables us to enable underwater wireless telecommunications in our next-generation products, increasing the resilience, security and sustainability of critical strategic infrastructure.
