Geopolitical tensions and global industrial competition have diminished the prominence of green issues in the media. The energy transition seems less urgent in public debate. But physical constraints do not follow the political agenda. Extreme weather events are intensifying, energy security remains fragile and Europe\u2019s technological dependence remains a structural issue. The transition is not a trend: it is an industrial and social necessity.     <\/p>\n\n<p>This is the context in which hydrogen fits, a topic often discussed in a one-sided manner. In the public imagination, it is associated almost exclusively with the automotive sector. In reality, it is already a cornerstone of global industry: around 100 million tonnes are produced each year, mainly for the synthesis of ammonia used in fertilisers and for essential chemical processes. Its use in transport represents just one of many possible applications, not the main one.   <\/p>\n\n<p>Today, however, almost all of this hydrogen is produced from fossil fuels. Decarbonising its production means taking action on one of the most significant sectors of the global economy. <\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Antares Electrolysis was founded in Genoa with the aim of developing stacks for electrolysers based on high-efficiency AEM (anion exchange membrane) technology, designed to combine performance, reliability and scalability.<\/strong> The approach is integrated: proprietary design, fluid dynamics optimisation, a mechanical architecture designed for robustness, and advanced material selection to ensure high electrochemical performance.<\/p>\n\n<p>Experimental validation has yielded significant results in terms of electrical efficiency and operational stability. The first deliveries of stacks to international customers have recently taken place, marking the transition from the development phase to practical application in the market. This is the first step on a structured and progressive path to growth.  <\/p>\n\n<p>The Antares initiative is built on two pillars: scientific excellence and industrial vision. The composition of the team, its multidisciplinary expertise and its affiliation with the Italian Institute of Technology are testament to a solid scientific foundation. At the same time, the company is focused on developing products that can be brought to market in the short term, whilst continuing, in parallel, research and development activities capable of generating innovations with an impact in the medium and long term.  <\/p>\n\n<p>In an industry dominated by asset-light and software-based models, Antares has chosen to invest in physical products, a laboratory and proprietary technical expertise. Building a robust supply chain is an integral part of the strategy.
