Jet HR, a scale-up specialising in technological solutions for human resources management, continues to develop new modules in the areas of HR, finance and compliance, and is launching Jet HR Fringe Benefit, a new service that integrates fringe benefits into what it describes as the employee management operating system already chosen by over 1,200 Italian companies. The new feature stems from a collaboration with Tundr, a start-up that makes employee benefits simple and scalable, and marks a further step in Jet HR\u2019s mission: to eliminate bureaucracy from the workplace, transforming complex processes into simple and transparent digital experiences.<\/p>\n\n

Jet HR <\/a>has chosen Tundr<\/a> as a partner because both companies put technology at the service of people, streamline bureaucratic processes for businesses, and reduce manual tasks and administrative complexity. Their shared goal is to offer Jet HR\u2019s clients the best possible user experience, combining employee management and benefits administration into a single digital workflow, without the need for parallel systems or friction for HR teams and employees. <\/p>\n\n

Paying out a gross bonus of \u20ac1,000 costs the company around \u20ac1,400, whilst the employee receives around \u20ac600 net.<\/strong> The same amount paid as an employee benefit costs the company exactly \u20ac1,000 and is entirely tax-free for the employee (within the limits set by the law): \u20ac1,000 per year per employee, \u20ac2,000 for those with dependent children. A difference which, if applied systematically, translates into potential savings of up to \u20ac400 per employee each year. Yet, despite these advantages, only 28.6% of Jet HR\u2019s client companies use fringe benefits on a regular basis. <\/p>\n\n

Jet HR has identified two reasons, both of which relate to both sides of the employment relationship.For businesses, the crux of the matter is operational: manually managing exemption thresholds, updating payslips and keeping track of the amounts allocated is a process that discourages regular use.<\/strong> With the new Jet HR module, which integrates with Tundr\u2019s workflow, this obstacle is eliminated: the platform directly offers the option to allocate fringe benefits, automatically checks compliance with the tax-free threshold and, if this is exceeded, alerts the administrator, thereby avoiding unexpected costs for the company. Everything is incorporated into the payslip without any additional steps and, as soon as the payslip is processed, the vouchers are immediately notified and automatically allocated to the employee. Companies can allocate credits and monitor the balance still available within the tax-free threshold directly from the Jet HR platform, without the need for dual logins, file exports or parallel processes. It simplifies the process and saves money. <\/p>\n\n

For employees, however, the problem lies in the poor usability of traditional tools. A survey conducted by Jet HR on LinkedIn clearly illustrates this: 67% of workers would prefer \u20ac500 net in their pay packet to \u20ac1,000 net in conventional vouchers, which are often restricted to limited networks and impractical in everyday life. With Jet HR fringe benefits, which incorporates the Tundr Card, these limitations are overcome. Employees receive a Mastercard accepted at hundreds of thousands of physical and online outlets across Italy, with the same ease already familiar to and routinely used by everyone, without special instructions, restrictions or the need to involve the HR department, whilst easily managing the tracking of transactions and the balance. <\/p>\n\n

“There are no other tools capable of doubling an employee\u2019s take-home pay whilst reducing the company\u2019s costs by a third,” comments Marco Ogliengo, CEO and co-founder of Jet HR, in a statement (pictured) \u2013 Italian law provides this opportunity, but it is not yet being exploited to the full because it is bogged down in red tape, both for the employee \u2013 who ends up preferring less money but more disposable income \u2013 and for the company.<\/strong> \u201cOur technology handles the administrative burden for companies, whilst Tundr\u2019s technology takes care of the employee side.
