D.gree, artificial intelligence for sailing by SailAdv

SailAdv, an Italian company specialising in yachting technology and naval diagnostics, is presenting its new D.gree V26 product architecture and its first AI Agent, Sailly, at Metstrade 2025 in Amsterdam, considered the world’s leading trade fair for marine technology, marking a significant step towards intelligent autonomy at sea.

D.gree, SailAdv’s AI-first platform, evolves with version V26, divided into three configurations: One, Pro and Ultra, designed to adapt seamlessly to both new yachts and refits. Based on over a decade of real measurements and hundreds of terabytes of data collected at sea, D.gree integrates every on-board subsystem, from propulsion to comfort systems, into a single deterministic and predictive infrastructure that can also operate offline. The result is an asset-agnostic technology, ready to transform the world’s most beautiful yachts into sea robots, improving safety and comfort while reducing downtime and maintenance costs.

D.gree offers concrete and measurable benefits such as predictive maintenance plans and reduced technical downtime; remote operation with increasing levels of control and assistance; reduced post-delivery costs for shipyards; and greater comfort and safety for crews and guests. With version V26, D.gree becomes the technological basis for the transition to maritime autonomy, while keeping people at the centre of the decision-making process.

Metstrade is the ideal stage for the global launch of Sailly, the first cognitive agent built on D.gree’s foundational data and a standard architecture combining AWS, Gemini and Nvidia hardware. If large language models represent the natural interface between humans and machines, Sailly, currently available in closed beta for special projects and with a progressive rollout planned for the first quarter of 2026, is the AI Agent that knows every detail of the yacht and every technical manual. Its mission: to understand the operating context in order to assist captains, shipowners and fleet managers in the daily management of vessels. Its development heralds a new generation of maritime AI: deterministic, transparent and truly useful for every stakeholder, both on board and ashore.

Metstrade is the world’s largest trade fair dedicated to recreational boating, with over 135 countries represented and more than 13 exhibition halls at the RAI Convention Centre in Amsterdam. Within the Superyacht Zone and the space dedicated to Superyacht Startups, SailAdv presents the future of smart yachting. SailAdv is an Italian technology group with operational headquarters in Senigallia and an innovation hub in Palo Alto, California. Its D.gree, OilToData and SailToData platforms transform every onboard signal into knowledge, enabling predictive maintenance, energy efficiency and progressive autonomy for boats.
