The journey continues to discover Genoese and Ligurian companies that are innovating in collaboration with Fondazione Genova Startup.
Happily was founded in 2017 as an entrepreneurial project dedicated to corporate welfare, with the aim of providing Italian companies with concrete and innovative tools to improve people’s well-being and, at the same time, optimise labour costs. The idea behind the project is simple but ambitious: to transform corporate welfare from an administrative tool into a strategic lever for the growth of people and organisations.
In a constantly evolving market, where employee satisfaction and engagement are increasingly crucial to companies’ productivity and competitiveness, Happily offers itself as a partner capable of combining technological innovation, strategic consulting and operational support, helping businesses to build more balanced, motivating and inclusive work environments.
Happily has moved beyond its role as a simple provider of welfare services, transforming itself into an integrated ecosystem for human resources that combines strategic consulting, training, coaching and innovative digital solutions. Its value proposition encompasses the entire organisational life cycle: from employee wellbeing and workplace climate analysis to the development of targeted professional programmes. The company supports businesses in creating inclusive, motivating and sustainable environments, addressing issues such as diversity and inclusion, gender equality and social responsibility. At the same time, it explores the potential of artificial intelligence applied to HR, developing digital tools that optimise processes, improve personnel management and facilitate faster and more informed decisions.
This approach has enabled the group to support over 2,500 companies throughout Italy, from micro-enterprises to large structured organisations, building solid and lasting relationships with each of them based on trust, expertise and the ability to offer tailor-made solutions. Happily’s solidity is also reflected in its financial results: organic growth, the result of the team’s daily work in the field, without resorting to external financial instruments. Enrico Reboscio and Gianluca Caffaratti (pictured) remain 50% owners, confirming a management model based on continuity, shared vision and long-term roots.
In 2024, Happily took a significant step forward in its evolution by acquiring 60% of Dotvocal, the company that had developed Happily’s welfare platform from day one. This transaction not only allowed Happily to consolidate and enhance its technological know-how, but also paved the way for the development of new digital features and services, making the platform a proprietary and highly customisable tool.
In the same year, Happily Travel was founded, a travel agency integrated into the welfare portal but also accessible to the public. The idea behind Happily Travel is to combine the simplicity of digital booking of hotels, accommodation and experiences with the constant assistance of an expert consultant, ready to support the user at every stage of the journey, from planning to the actual experience. In this way, Happily Travel brings to the world of travel the same philosophy that has always guided welfare: combining technology, personalised service and attention to individual needs.
2025 marks a further step in the growth of Happily and the now Group, with the creation of Alvea Care, a company dedicated to healthcare consulting. Alvea Care supports companies and employees in the use of healthcare funds, offering customised solutions and mutual aid plans designed to promote well-being throughout life. Thanks to this initiative, Happily is expanding its offering, integrating services that go beyond traditional welfare and respond to concrete needs related to health and quality of life, confirming its holistic approach and desire to accompany people through all stages of their working and personal lives.
The total EBITDA of the four companies in the group forecast for 2025 is approximately €1.5 million, reflecting a solid and sustainable business model. At the same time, the team is also growing: today, Happily employs 34 people, ten more than in 2024, with diverse skills in HR, welfare, training, consulting and technology. Dotvocal and Happily Travel have also expanded their workforce, with two new hires at Dotvocal and three at Happily Travel, further strengthening the group’s operational and strategic capabilities.
