Five Neapolitan companies kick off the new season of NaStartup

Speaqi, Stratum, Surgical Sense AI, Oniro and Start Nap are the start-ups taking centre stage at the first event of the new NAStartup programme, which is increasingly establishing itself as a key player in the entire start-up ecosystem of Southern Italy

Speaqi, whose CEO is Massimo Morgante, is a SaaS platform that enables users to convert any content into a single multilingual link or QR code, accessible in up to 50 languages. An integrated analytics system tracks users’ origin, language and behaviour, providing strategic data to understand global audiences and optimise content distribution.

Stratum, led by CEO Giuseppe Casuccio, begins by asking: how will we dress robots? Can they really wear our clothes? Stratum was created to answer these questions, designing garments and accessories tailored for humanoid robots, combining functionality, design and identity.

Surgical Sense AI, represented by CEO Mario Arpaia and CTO Francesco Caputo, develops artificial intelligence-based solutions to support advanced surgery. The proprietary system measures tissue perfusion in real time, improving safety and clinical outcomes, and integrates with existing laparoscopic and robotic platforms.

Oniro, led by CEO Andrea Detry and COO Luca Cervone, is an innovative start-up operating in the advanced manufacturing and materials sector, focused on developing proprietary technologies for 3D printing and the production of lightweight, high-performance structures. It holds international patents in this field and collaborates with companies, research centres and universities across Europe and internationally.

Start Nap, presented by its founder Simone Lepore, aims to make employment in Campania more accessible. A digital platform that aggregates and distributes job vacancies, recruitment drives and career opportunities in Campania. The problem it tackles is a real one: fragmented and unclear access to information about the local job market. Through daily posts on Instagram and TikTok, Start Nap translates complex job advertisements and information into clear, easily accessible content for an active community.

For this edition of NAStartup’s StartupLab programme, the organisation has selected five start-ups that were founded and are currently developing in Naples, with the aim of highlighting how the city is a breeding ground for ideas and innovative energy. The organisation, led by Antonio Prigiobbo (who is also a contributor to Startupbusiness) has been supporting for over 12 years through various activities involving not only entrepreneurs and investors but also many local stakeholders who play a role in supporting the development of innovative businesses, including organisations such as DA Napoli tailoring, Santa Chiara Boutique Hotel, Biancamore, LauroIT, Piquattro Digital, CreazionedImpresa.it, Pandant, Quostro and SUGC, which contribute to ensuring that NaStartup’s initiatives remain non-profit and free of charge for participants.
