E-novia and Perspective AI have announced a strategic partnership to support Italian manufacturing companies through an end-to-end journey towards the adoption of artificial intelligence, from strategic assessment and architectural redesign to the implementation of concrete solutions for optimising processes, quality and operations within the manufacturing sector.
This partnership stems from companies’ need to make the most practical use possible of AI, whilst avoiding fragmented investments, solutions that do not align with business needs, and the risk of purchasing technologies that are difficult to integrate and maintain over time.
In a climate where many businesses feel the pressure of new technologies but struggle to identify the tools that are truly useful, E-novia and Perspective AI offer a more strategic approach, built around four stages: context analysis; targeted identification of areas for improvement; design of new business architectures; and the design and implementation of technological solutions at the operational level, to achieve a measurable impact on efficiency, quality and business continuity.
The partnership combines the expertise of Perspective AI – which ranges from analysing the current situation and redesigning architectures to defining and measuring outcomes and investment plans – with E-novia’s experience in evaluating technologies, identifying the most suitable toolchains and algorithms, designing and developing industrial solutions, and integrating AI components through to full implementation on the factory floor.
In particular, E-novia brings its expertise to bear in designing the architecture that links existing machinery, sensors, edge gateways and IT systems; in selecting the hardware required to enable data collection and control of legacy machinery; and in orchestration via ThinkLink, an AI-ready IoT platform that facilitates integration into processes and scaling across multiple production lines.
“Manufacturing companies do not need isolated experiments, but a structured approach that translates AI into real operational value,” comments Massimiliano Benci, CEO of E-novia, in a statement. “Through this partnership, we aim to offer an end-to-end approach that helps companies make informed choices, build sustainable architectures and roll out solutions capable of generating measurable results.”
“Today, many companies are purchasing AI tools without yet having a clear idea of what organisational and industrial architecture is actually needed to generate value. The risk is not falling behind on AI, but implementing it in a fragmented and unsustainable way,” adds Lorenzo Maternini, CEO and founder of Perpective AI.
The working model, which supports the business from concept to implementation, is designed for manufacturing environments characterised by legacy machinery, fragmented data and the need to rapidly digitise processes, without having to make costly investments in new equipment.
Combining strategic vision with the ability to execute at an operational level helps to reduce implementation times, costs and risks, avoiding both strategies that fail to deliver and technical projects lacking a clear business direction (Photo by Simon Kadula on Unsplash).
