Pack, the start-up that supports companies in developing and enhancing human capital with its all-in-one HR platform, has announced that it has closed a €3.5 million investment round. The capital raised will be used to consolidate the proprietary product, develop new AI-based features and grow the team, which currently consists of over 30 professionals.
The round was led by Rialto VC, an Italian venture capital fund founded by Stefano Quintarelli (entrepreneur, IT specialist and politician, founder of I.NET) and Simone Brunozzi (co-founder of Fabrica, former CTO of VMware, former technology evangelist at Amazon Web Services), who were joined at the end of 2023 by Alessandro Profumo (former CEO of Leonardo and Unicredit). The fund combines strategic expertise in corporate governance, digital innovation and technology scale-ups.
“We chose to support Pack because it combines a clear vision of the market with a concrete and innovative approach. This round marks a fundamental step towards consolidating growth and strengthening the start-up’s national and international presence,” emphasises Alessandro Profumo, Rialto VC, in a statement.
“Having the support of a venture capital fund with a team of top-level partners is a great endorsement for us. We chose Rialto from among the funds that came forward because of the unique combined experience of Alessandro Profumo, Stefano Quintarelli and Simone Brunozzi. We have grown significantly over the last two years, with clients such as Leroy Merlin, Amadori, and Edenred. Now is the time to take our expansion plan to the next level,” says Pietro Maria Picogna, co-founder of Pack. (pictured with the team).
Founded in 2022 by Pietro Maria Picogna and Giacomo Gentili, Pack collaborates with over 80 multinational companies and was created to respond to a concrete challenge: to offer companies a strategic partner to address the growing complexity of people development, focusing on skills and promoting the creation of more agile teams that are aware and prepared to face the challenges of the future.
The platform integrates tools for skill mapping, digital assessment and the activation of personalised development paths, such as coaching, mentoring and targeted training, supported by a continuous AI-based monitoring system that measures progress and impact on the business.
“Pack represents a significant step forward in our commitment to supporting people through change,” says Selene Santacaterina, Director of Personnel and Organisation at Gruppo Amadori.
With its data-driven approach, the start-up aims to become the European benchmark for companies seeking to innovate their HR and people development processes, combining technology with a real impact on people.
Companies around the world are facing, or will soon face, the daunting challenge of managing the growing complexity of human capital. They need not just a supplier, but a true partner who can guide them through this transformation. Organisations must make the most of their people in order to increase their performance and improve their satisfaction. Pack is here to help them achieve what was not possible before,” says Giacomo Gentili, co-founder of Pack.
