ADmantX, new Ceo to drive expansion

ADmantX, the Italian startup backed by Atlante Venture (Intesa Sanpaolo venture arm) appoints as new Ceo Giovanni Strocchi, former executive at Vodafone, and most recently angel investor member of Italian Angels for Growth.

Since last year, when ADmantx raised 2 mllion euros, the company has doubled in size, signing a number of customers and partnerships, and improving its ability to optimize ad operations and guarantee even better results for customers. Strocchi will now shape the next phase of growth with a focus on the US market.

“As the web continues to prove its worth to advertisers even in a tough economic climate, providing accurate, more relevant ads resulting in a higher campaign ROI is imperative,” said Strocchi. “ADmantX offers the richest, fastest and most accurate contextual targeting on the market, and I am excited by the opportunity to build upon the company's platform and lead it to the next level.”

ADmantX offers an advanced semantic page-level analysis that surfaces reader emotions, behaviors, motivations and intentions in order to match ads with similar emotional appeal, without using tracking cookies. This is the first outside funding since ADmantX was spun off last year from Expert System, the leading global provider of semantic software.
