Satispay, the fintech company behind the app that allows users to make payments for various services and manage their finances, has announced that it has entered into a partnership agreement with MooneyGo, an app dedicated to integrated transport with over two million registered users.
Having successfully integrated Satispay as a payment method for all MooneyGo services, the partnership is evolving to give Satispay’s six million users direct access to the channels for activating the MooneyGo electronic toll service, whilst also offering an exclusive promotion when Satispay is set as the payment method for the service. It is also still possible to pay via Satispay for all other mobility services included in the MooneyGo app.

Our strategic partnership with MooneyGo was established precisely to meet this need. By providing access to MooneyGo’s services via our app, we bring the immediacy of everyday payments to the world of transport. “We’re doing away with the usual manual steps, ensuring users not only enjoy a seamless experience, but also the convenience and security of managing everything within an app they already trust,” says Edoardo Volta, Satispay’s director of strategic partnerships, in a statement.
Antonio Iannitti, Head of Mobility, Telco and Easycassa at Mooney, adds: “With MooneyGo, we are working to bring together the main mobility services in a single app, making them accessible and easy to manage at all times: from electronic toll payment to roadside assistance, from parking to car parks, right through to public transport, buses, trains, taxis and car-sharing.” The partnership with Satispay is part of this initiative, expanding access points and further simplifying the user experience: on the one hand, it enhances the payment options available on MooneyGo; on the other, it brings MooneyGo’s electronic toll collection service into new contexts of use, reaching users within their daily routines. The aim is clear: to make travel increasingly seamless, consistent and in line with the expectations of those who travel every day.
By opening the ‘Services’ section of the Satispay super app, users are guided through a few simple steps to activate the MooneyGo electronic toll payment service, which, in addition to paying tolls, also includes services for paying at partner car parks, for the Area C zone in Milan, and for the ferry across the Strait of Messina. Those who choose to activate the MooneyGo electronic toll collection subscription via Satispay will have access to an exclusive promotion on the monthly fee. All charges will be debited directly via Satispay and, thanks to the integration, users will be able to view all expenses directly in both apps, Satispay and MooneyGo, offering full visibility and control.
