The Ennio Doris Foundation is pleased to announce that it has decided to join the Tech Europe Foundation as its first supporting member. This decision stems from a desire to strengthen and accelerate the Tech Europe Foundation, an organisation that acts as a European platform for transforming scientific research into new deep-tech companies, fostering collaboration between universities, talented individuals and the business community.
This membership forms part of a shared vision aimed at promoting European research and human capital as a driving force for the creation of new businesses that can contribute to the competitiveness of both the country and Europe.
The Ennio Doris Foundation, established to uphold Ennio Doris’s legacy of values and promote initiatives with a social impact, contributes to the project with a particular focus on talent development, education and the promotion of an entrepreneurial culture. In this regard, the integration of training, research and the world of work represents a natural and strategic area for collaboration, in which young people can be supported in turning their skills and ideas into concrete entrepreneurial ventures.
With this in mind, the Ennio Doris Foundation has committed to a multi-year partnership in support of the Tech Europe Foundation’s activities, reflecting an approach focused on youth development, strengthening technology transfer processes, and fostering a robust, inclusive, European innovation ecosystem capable of generating structural and lasting impact. The partnership involves active participation in policy-making and strategic development processes through the provision of expertise and experience.
“Joining the Tech Europe Foundation is part of a strategy that aligns with the Foundation’s mission to create tangible opportunities for the younger generation. We believe that dialogue between education, research and business is a key driver for supporting talented individuals on their path to growth and for generating innovation and development for the country through skills and knowledge,” said Sara Doris, president of the Ennio Doris Foundation, in a statement.
“The involvement of the Ennio Doris Foundation marks a further step in the development of the Tech Europe Foundation, which is based on an open and collaborative vision. The contribution of partners who share our principles, responsibilities and long-term outlook is crucial to promoting research and supporting the creation and growth of new technology companies,” adds Ferruccio Resta, President of the Tech Europe Foundation.
