Spoome at the starting blocks: the Italian startup that has developed a professional network sports-oriented, whose goal is to become the first network of professional sports in the world, will launch the public version of the site on July 27, simultaneously with the opening of the Olympic Games in London.
The private beta of Spoome.com is online since last May and in these months, 100 users, selected also through a twitter contest called #giveyourbest, participated actively in the development of the product by providing feedbacks and testing platform.
Spoome few months ago has been included in Microsoft BizSpark + program (dedicated to startups) and received great support in terms of financial resources, technical expertise and marketing. In addition, it was selected among a thousand as one of five startups representing Italy at the renowned Microsoft BizSpark European Summit London 2012.
The startup had the attention of several Italian newspapers and relevant sites (Sole 24 ore, Wired, Innov'azione, Startupbusiness, Ninja Marketing), Startupbusiness could readers may probably remember a recent swing of the founder Massimo Bilancia and his interview to Italian Valley on Wired.it.
