Sitar Teli new partner at Connect Ventures

One thing I advise entrepreneurs to do is start a business in an area they love. I decided it was time to take my own advice and do something entrepreneurial within venture capital. I’m delighted to join Bill and Pietro at Connect Ventures which has all the characteristics of the venture capital firm I would design if it didn't already exist

Teli joins Pietro Bezza and Bill Earner at Connect Ventures. Bezza founded and built up Neo
Network, a market-leading digital content venture that he sold to the European media group De
Agostini, and Earner is a former investment manager at Amadeus Capital Partners. “We are
overjoyed to have Sitar join us as partner. Our ambition at Connect Ventures is to build a great
firm that serves entrepreneurs across Europe and Sitar is a key part of that,” said Pietro Bezza.

Sitar Teli has made the move in order to focus on seed and A-round investments in the areas of
consumer internet, consumer mobile and web infrastructure. At Doughty Hanson Technology
Ventures for seven years, she has significant investment and advisory experience as well as a track
record with early stage companies. She has served as board director of MegaZebra and board
observer of several other businesses including SoundCloud and Handmade Mobile.
Since its launch last March, Connect Ventures raised 16 million euros for its first fund and they back 4 startups; Citymapper, SecretSales, Ondango and Space Ape Games.
