Artistic Music Accelerator is an intensive programme designed for emerging and semi-professional artists, with the aim of helping them transform their talent into a structured and competitive project within the music industry. The initiative, which borrows the concept of an accelerator as it is known in the start-up world, leverages the ability to put artists in direct contact with leading professionals, producers, songwriters, managers and key figures in the industry, and offers concrete opportunities such as access to the FOMO London artist experience, an initiative designed to open up international prospects.
“In an increasingly complex and fragmented market, music production continues to grow in volume, but struggles to translate into projects that are truly distinctive and sustainable over time. Access to distribution channels is now widespread, whilst the ability to build solid identities and coherent trajectories remains a distinguishing factor. Today, labels, producers and managers are not just looking for good tracks, but structured projects: a clear vision, consistent branding, a release strategy, a defined narrative and a medium-term outlook,” says Maximilian Rio, co-founder of A.M.A. alongside Yuli del Rey, in a statement – It is precisely in this gap between production and positioning that A.M.A. steps in, with an operational model designed to make a project clear and credible in the eyes of industry professionals. “Not a traditional course, but a methodological accelerator that integrates creative development, identity building, strategic planning and professional preparation, with a specific goal: to put talents in a position to engage meaningfully with the real ecosystem of the music industry.”
The programme, structured as a practical training course based in Milan, is divided into five intensive weekends, totalling 86 hours of immersive work, followed by a final weekend dedicated to the demo day – the final showcase in front of producers, songwriters, managers and industry professionals. A moment in which the artists bring to the stage the repertoire, identity and material developed during the programme, engaging directly with the real dynamics of the music industry. During the event, the following awards will be presented: the FLAE – FOMO London Artist Experience Award, an international artistic experience taking place at FOMO London Studios, comprising three days of creative work and professional exchange in London, designed to offer a concrete gateway to the international market; the Mogar Music Award, linked to technological support for music production with the possibility of receiving dedicated audio equipment; and the Fatti Sentire Festival Pass Award, which offers access to the semi-finals of the festival of the same name dedicated to emerging artists, the final of which is broadcast on the second channel of public television.
The process follows a progression that begins with artistic identity: understanding who you are, what you want to communicate, and how to position yourself in the market. We then move on to defining the repertoire and strategic direction, working on the tracks and ensuring the project’s coherence. Next, we develop the artist’s image, stage presence and content, so that sound and communication speak the same language. Finally, the release phase is addressed: planning releases, organising promotion and analysing data to measure impact. Each step generates tangible results: a professional press kit, consistent visual materials, a track release plan and practical tools to present oneself in a structured manner to labels, managers and industry professionals.
A key feature of the programme is the involvement of professionals active in the Italian music scene, including Alfredo Rapetti Mogol “Cheope”, Diego Calvetti, Daniele Coro, Maximilian Rio, Adel Al Kassem, Diego Mancino, Daniele Stefani, Dario Bonelli, Roberta Girotto, Yuli del Rey, Sabrina Ganzer, Mirjam Bon, Tommaso Ferrandina, Lapo Consortini, Maurizio Rugginenti “Rusty”, Emanuela Colli (Pirames International), Luca Bacci (Brand Music – International), Aris Giavelli (co-founder of 3V Agency), Paolo Piva (RDS).
Their contribution covers various aspects of the programme: songwriting and production, including work on repertoire and creative development; performance and image, from stage presence to the development of an artistic identity; and the music business and strategies, with a focus on promotion, rights and market positioning. This structured support runs throughout the programme, offering direct feedback, strategic vision and practical connections, and serves as the real link between the artistic project and the music industry.
A.M.A. is open to artists aged 14 and over, singer-songwriters and performers, producers and songwriters, whether solo artists, duos or bands, with no restrictions on musical genre. Applications, managed by the artistic team, will remain open until all 20 places have been filled, with the aim of ensuring a personalised and intensive programme.
